Because of his Colombian roots, Michael's love for salsa music starts in his early childhood, and very young he develops the desire to dance salsa. But while he completes his school education, both the lack of time and money prevent his dream from coming true for many years ...

In 2003, driven by an uncontrollable desire to move with the music, he starts dancing Electro and Hip-hop in nightclubs, and quickly receives a proposal to join a group of dancers. He performs with the group in all kind of shows, and attends Hip-hop dance classes.

In 2011, Michael enrolls in his first salsa classes at Salsa Brussels, and after only a short time he is invited to become part of a group of assistants and trainee instructors. Three years later, armed with a solid education, he becomes an instructor for Salsa Bruxelles at the Galerie des Princes ...

In September 2014, Michael stops (temporarily?) his activities in our dance school, where he was highly regarded for his demanding, yet easy-going style of teaching and his great sense of humor.
